  1. Thank you so much! That's exactly what it is.
  2. Did some search on tube worms. Do they all have crowns? I have not seen any from this before. All I have seen is a sticky filament coming from the tube. I've also seen my blenny stealing food from this sticky filament when food gets stuck on it.
  3. Got this blasto frag recently and noticed in the middle of the frag, a black tube like structure sticking out. It does not retract when touched. Last evening when I was target feeding, there was a thin long tentacle like thing with food stuck on it being retracted into the hole Any one know what that is and if it considered a pest? Thanks in advance.
  4. Alternatively, look in Pasir Malam for people selling Maxspect razor 120w. Should be enough.
  5. Bro. I have a maxspect glaive m40 which I bought from de during their grand opening (30th aug). Willing to let go at $120 (bought at $165) as I recently upgraded my lighting.
  6. Was just at Ah Beng, Ng Couple and Iwarna. Don't recall seeing any there
  7. As per title. Collection at Pasir Ris. Please bring own container/bag.
  8. Here's the latest FTS. Still looks empty and pardon the poor quality of the shot.
  9. Thanks for the advise and offer bro. Currently topping up about 2 bottles of distiller water weekly. Also have a canister spare at home to use so won't be needing one. Added a Flame Angel, cleaner shrimp and GSP this week. Still looking for a suitable bottom dweller but can't be gobies as I don't have a cover and water level is 1.5cm from the tank rim. Also contemplating another coral either blasto or candy cane. Any idea which would be more comfortable in water temp of 30 +/- 1 degree?
  10. Get a cover for the tank. Goby are notorious jumpers.
  11. Update: Day 11 of setting up the tank. Just did a 15% water change. Added a blue legged hermit crab and banded coral shrimp on day 7 and dosed another 2 vials of prodibio startup. Both LS doing well and cleaned up the left over mp. Added a royal gramma yesterday. All LS feeding on tdo pellets. Salinity: 1.025 Ph: 8.0 Ammonia: 0 Nitrites: 0 Nitrates: 25 Phosphate: 0.1 Temp: 30
  12. Hi Bro, I just started a tank of the same dimension as well. Used skimz salt as it's the most cost effective based on my research. For cycling, I used prodibio start up with caribsea live sand. Hope this helps.
  13. Tried again. Got this response. This content is currently unavailable The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page.
  14. Sorry link doesn't work. Anyone know what arrived at pacific reef? Thanks.
  15. Yes. Will have filter floss. The pro 3 2075 has both filter floss and pre filter compartment.
  16. Once again, thanks for your advice and recommendations. As cleaning the canister can be rather troublesome, I rather not include items that need replenishment (eg. Rowophos, chemipure elite etc) as forgetting to replace means it becomes a ticking timebomb. Think I will fill it with the usual bio filtration media and use daily/weekly dosing for PO4 removal. NO3 removal will just have to rely on regular WC. Task for the weekend then is to decomm the HOB filter and implement the Canister. Will keep the HOB to run AC or Chemipure in the future if needed.
  17. Noted on the advice. I'll recycle my Pro 3 for this tank then. Filter medium to use exactly the same as fw? Eg. Biohome, substrate Pro, Coral chips etc? Thanks.
  18. Thanks for the advice. Contemplated using a canister but during my research, realized that it might become a nitrate factory if the canister is not cleaned regularly. Seeing that my tank temp has not gone down below 29 even at night, thinking of getting a chiller. On the lookout for a pre loved chiller and might use a canister to drive the chiller.
