Hav check the water perimeter from tds meter reads 66ppm Decided not to use the water cause of the foul smell Going to buy the the replacement resin from madpets Was told only madpets hav the replacement resin Any other brand can fit for ZERO di unit?

Did not change the catridges cos owner said using it for 3mths only Did not hav a tds meter yet Should search for 1 now Anyway thank u for the inputs

hi all Need an info bout DI water Juz bought a 3 stage Di unit set From a reefer Hav install it today and hav fill up 1 pail of water But the problem is there is a kind of smell coming from The water! Is this normal? Btw the 3 stage unit is also connected from my 1 stage water Filter ( bought this from a hardware store) Any reefer hav experience this? Decided not using the water to top up for my hospital tank!

Actually water & live rock has been running by my bro Since he's upgrading to bigger tank so the existing tank Will be transfered to me hence using everything back except Dat i will only put in the artificial rock.

need advise from experience reefer here I intend to start a FOWLR with a 2ft tank Using sand but putting in artificial live rock My question is there any pros & cons in long term period? Btw am using a quick start filter system bought from jireh marine Any feedback is much appreciated.
