Hi, My naso tang developed a small patch of white film/mucus on one side of the body. in two days, the size doubled. is this the mucus the naso made to fight some sort of infection? Fish still not acting any different from before, still grazing and swimming around in Tank. Guys any idea?

Hi All, I started cycling my new 5' tank 10 days ago, a market prawn was introduced on day 1. seen very low levels of ammonia, but no NO2 as of now. Was wondering how long before one can read No2? *I having been dosing bacteria from day 1 (everyday thereafter) , running biopellets and skimmer after a couple of days.

So, looks like bio pellets must come 1st from the overflow from bacteria king, then probably skimmer, then rowas before to go back into return pump compartment.

Hi, my new tank is cycling now, just wondering which is the correct way to place the skimmer and FRs (bio-pellets and rowas)? my sump design is as such: water in from DT into bacteria king and overflows into the skimmer compartment. should I place skimmer 1st and direct output to FRs? or FR 1st and direct outputs to skimmer? Also does it matter which FR 1st? example rowas 1st or biopellets 1st. TIA

Guys, my new tank is coming. Considering the weeks of cycling a new tank, what is the best solution to temporary house my lps n live stocks? Big container with an air pump and wc every couple of days?
