    resins just wear out much faster than the ro membranes, rule of thumb, change ro membrane every 6 months.

    i wouldnt be concern if your PH fluctuates between 7.8 - 7.83. its a tad low but very stable. I would just monitor and leave it. however, do buffer it up if it goes below 7.8

    btw, if one keeps switching the wavemakers on and off and a daily basis, I believe in the long run, its creating more wear and tear in the wavemakers

    the fishes and corals will not be affected by the wave makers, they will find a way to 'sleep' like how they would in the ocean. LPS, softies closed up for this reason among others. Fishes hide in rocks for this reason.
