After a while in the tank, sometimes you will see that part of the tail or fins of angels or tangs been biten off, very nice bite shape. I think most likely it is from the triggerfish although I never saw it bites the fishes.
I sugguest that you wash and soak the LR from another reefer with fresh water to kill all the parasitic in LR. Although the cycling time increases, but it will be disease free.

Good for FOLWR tank , not sure it is suitable for reef tank. I found it is very difficult to open. Super difficult....
I have a Yellow tang, one of the side, the tang does not have scalpeline spine.
Will the tang grow back the scalpeline spine?
