  1. yours still can survive 2 weeks... mine is dead... the only thing i could think of that kill it was when changing water, the salanity was increased from 1.023 to 1.026. But such a slight change killed it within 2 days? hmm.. funny
  2. Anyone has experience with this type of urchin? Bought from cf.. its spikes are dropping like mad... I gave it dried seaweed and change water regularly but still....
  3. ok got rid of it in the afternoon as soon as i saw the massage. Thanks.
  4. thanks for the tips, blue sponge seem like a good idea to add color to tank. oh well. Just found another alien critter buried into the flesh of red bamboo algea, will post pics soon when i get home
  5. From irawana. . Theres this big plastic blue tank of "low" class corals.. the worm is now hanging itself in the current extending its tentacles. . I guess its a tube worm with a tube?

  8. Hey guys need help on some hitchhikers i found on my newly bought live rock from coral farm. i think there are two of them hiding in a small hole/cave/tube. They will quickly withdraw back into the hole on sudden movement. Picture is magnifed many times. They are actually very small.
  9. boss, i guess your 1st batch of live stock didnt make it eh...? If i'm not wrong.. corals even harder to keep than fishes coz temp is important? dont mind me kapo as i'm closly monitering all the nano tank threads as gonna start mine real soon..
  10. i very keen to know if the starfish will survive in a nano.. will be cheering for him! Do post updates....
  11. Hey guys, thanks for your replies to my starfish question. According to what i have read, this starfish(probably Linckia Star) might not be suitable for a nano. it requires a big and mature system to support its microbes needs. It is a very delicate creature which cannot tolerate high nitrates levels and it prefers a high salinity of 1.026. Sorry to say it jettaboi but chances are the starfish might not survive long..... But do continue to post about the health and progress of your tank and inhabitants.
  12. the starfish looks nice. What species is it? hehe... i'm in the process of selecting what to put in my nano....
  13. Boss, may i know where to buy the bigger Skimz iBOX Nano? the 9 litre tanks are available online but cannot find the bigger ones.
