  1. My clowns spawned yesterday, for the very first time. Just thought it would be fun to try raising the fries, if they hatch. Anyone knows where can get live rotifiers?
  2. Ok, I understand some of us don't drive and its a real torture carrying this 20kg home via bus/mrt. So I will offer to deliver this to your block/carpark (not doorstep), but it will be $50/tub. The extra $4 for effort and petrol. But if you stay around Bukit Batok, then I do for free, so still $46. Cheers
  3. Hi, This weekend I will be buying the SKIMZ Pur Reef Salt 2+1 promo. Each tub is 20kg. If anyone is interested in this salt, I can let go 1 or even 2 tubs at $46 /tub. Collection at Hume Ave (around Bukit Batok area). PM me if interested.
  4. Bro, check with Henry at MarineLife. His stock came in couple weeks ago and I got from him last week.
  5. If it's a big piece of LR, you can use a small piece of netting (ie. cut out from fish net), to hold the mushroom down onto the LR. After a few days or a week, the mushroom should stick itself onto the LR. Alternatively, place small pieces of LR or some frag plugs into a breeder box or similar, put your mushroom in, locate the box in a low flow area. When the mushroom sticks to any of the LR/plugs, simple glue the LR/plug anywhere you want it to be.
  6. If you are referring to the Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, yes they are scavengers too, so they will help eat up leftover food in the tank. This shrimp is popular among reefers, because they not only can help "clean" the fishes of dean skin and some parasites (if the fish allow), they are part of the clean up crew too. I've seen prices ranging from $6-$12 depending where you get them.
  7. Don't think yours is a Fireworm. If you are worried, then just remove it. But whatever worm it is, I do not see why it would cause your tank to crash.
  8. Bristle worms are not harmful. They are actually helpful as they scavenge and clear uneaten leftover food that settles on the bottom. However, due to their looks, many do not like them in their tank. Fireworms and Bobbits are the ones that we should be more concerned about.
  9. What's the average cost of Super Sun? Does it need more feeding than the normal Suns?
  10. Hi, anyone seen any LFS selling Rowaphos & Biospheres? Went to a few shops and not selling.
  11. No, filter is not Hang On Back. The tank is with IOS = Internal Overflow Sump. That means the sump is part of the tank. It consists of a few compartments, usually located at the back of the tank itself. The 1st compartment is where the tank water overflows into the sump, and this is usually where the mechanical filters are located. Skimmer can be located in the next compartment. And the last compartment is where the Return Pump is located.
  12. Mine is an IOS tank and yes, it is less that 80l. So typically, a HS28A will cost $25+/- to run a per month?
  13. Has any reefer monitored their running cost (electricity cost), before and after installing a Chiller? In particular, I'm looking at the Hailea HS28A 1/10hp on 18G tank. Currently using a SUNON fan and can cool down to 27 Deg C (can be 29DegC on a hot day), but fan is on for 24hrs everyday. If I were to switch to a Chiller, then I would also need to get a pump. So even if the Chiller kicks in for only 15mins every hour, the Pump will still be running non-stop 24hrs everyday. So, trying to estimate the running cost difference between Fan and Chiller+Pump. Any feedback is welcomed. Tks.
  14. Irwana, Pinnacle, Ah Bengs and Ng's couple at Pasir Ris Farmways. MarineLife at Clementi. New Trio Fisheries (LCK201) at Lim Chu Kang. AquaMarin at Jln Selaseh (around Yio Chu Kang). SeaLife at Bukit Merah.
  15. Anyone letting go a good working RW-4, please PM me with price, condition and age of the RW-4. Tks.
  16. It's a type of Hydroid. Does sometimes appears in new tanks. This type usually not a concern and should disappear in weeks time.
  17. Looks like a bleached Chalice. Google to check. I may be wrong.
  18. Is this Spaghetti Worm? Started appearing 1 month ago under rocks.
  19. Please PM if anyone letting go a WP10. Tks.
  20. 1 frag reserved by *****692. Left 1 frag to go.
  21. GSP growing faster than I can clear them. The 2 frags in photo (bottom right corner), letting go at $10 each, or trade with small frag of Cloves. PM for interest, deal in South/West.
