Care to share the eheim canister that you uses now? I am looking at Ecco that has a low power consumption but at a higher price. Is the rio protein skimmer a HOB?

Bro slapper I am I was looking for a canister for my 2ft ADA tank, spoke to a staff from QianHu. He shared that for freshwater the flow rate is about 4-5 times the litres in the tank and saltwater should be 8-10times. Ista canister flow rate is max at 360I/H. How is it doing for you so far? Must say the price of ISTA canister is good as eheim ones are at $280 however is only consume 5W. Btw how do you handle maintenance for your canister? Thanks Lastly you truly runs one of the most respectable tank!

Just wondering if i am up for DIY sump, but not sure the size and the partition. Otherwise any place i can already make sump? To have a sump, I think we are suppose to have 1) Down pipe 2) Filter media 3) Skimmer 4) return pump 5) Live rocks or chateo Cheers!

hi Ryan I am torn between eheim ecco pro and a sump for filtration. Of cos i will need a skimmer. However, I am looking to have a clean main tank setup as i wish to preserve the ADA clean rimless look. May like having a lily pipes to the sump or Canister but skimmer I can't hide anywhere without a sump.
