Hi All, I already read some of your interesting post, I really appreciate to follow reef keeping around the world & different countries. In fact, as some of you saw, I just discovered an interesting thread on this site (the NAC New QQ skimmer) while searching unboxing pictures on google to write an article for my specialized blog http://reefandthecity.com. My wife own a nano reef (40x40x45 water level @40) & my tank is 130cmX100x65 (water level @60). You will find more pictures on my personnal blog @ http://reef.lecaroz.name . I am in the reefkeeping hobby now more since 10 years & I already maintained other reef tanks in the past like a full color SPS tank (630 liters with 3x400W & 300W of blue, generating too many frags !!!! & consuming too many calcium !!!!! it was a crazy adventure). I personnaly own 4 radions on my 130cmX100cmX65 (water level @60), 1 on each side & 2 in the center, you can find a picture of my last update in the Radion owner club of the reefcentral (& some old pictures with only 3 at http://reef.lecaroz.name). 2 to cover 100cmX33cm is in my point of view the minimum if you want a minimal level level light acceptable for your eyes. For sure it could work with less for corals but don't forget the visual effect I hope that my feedback will help you in your choice Louis

Hi tunicate & all, I read with attention your article. As owner of a french material blog testing reef keeping products, I write some article on products unboxing (like for example this Aqua Excel AE ZPS 60 Skimmer http://reefandthecity.com/2012/05/08/essai-de-lecumeur-aqua-excel-ae-zps60/ ). In fact, as you will see on my blog, I have also a nano reef with exactly the same skimmer as you : the NAC New QQ (in fact your skimmer is not a NAC QQ but a NAC New QQ). I am going to write a review on this skimmer, but I forgot to take some picture of the unboxing . So instead of stolling your pictures, I would like your autorisation/courtesy to use them in my article ? (I was searching for unboxing picture since fiew weeks & also asked directly to bubble magus but no an answer). For sure, I will add a link to this really interesting forum & article & also add your username & special thx to you in the article.
