28C shd b no problem.. dunnoe how much u will save in electricity bill..

depend on the breed, for most fish below 30°c shd b fine..there is aa reefer temp 31°c n ok..senior Reefer shd b advising 27.5°c..I will b keeping mine below 30°c with fan..happy reefing

Just a pic of my fishes in their new home..they like they have a big fight over territory in the 1st day..can see hole in their fins..they r like strangers..btw they look small in my tank..cannot add new fish after 3mth as promise to my CO..wait wait wait.. Still looking for a more approx. light..now using back my 3ft led light placing in the centre..this is the effect of 3ft light over a 5ft tank..

Haha bro, I dun have 1 now..do hope my tangs n angel will grow to that size n bigger one day.. My rock scape holes size vary at ard 10" tall n 5" wide, 8" tall n 4" wide, 5" tall n 4" wide, etc.. So shd b enough for big fish to swim thru..happy reefing

I m using fan to cool the water..evaporation is crazy so I was planning to install a thermostat to on/off the fan @ 28.5°c/27.5°c to cut down water top up amt..will share more if this work.. So I would like to ask reefers with FOWLR setup, what temp range u have be it using chiller, fan or natural mean to cool the water?..thks

So bro, ur tank max.temp so far at 31°c ok? The evaporation was really crazy using fan..I have try cooling my 5ft tank from 28.5°c to 27.8°c in 8hr period (3pm-11pm) n 3L of water was gone..maybe I will set thermostat for the fan liao..dun run 247..
