Bro, r u gg for FOWLR or reef tank? 1)SG @ 1.026 is consider high for fishes..try gg for 1.016-1.020 1st..to increase gradually to 1.023-1.025 if gg for reef later on..try to compare different water SG from different source to know if ur device is accurate.. 2)try to do 50-70% wc with nsw..dose bacteria (I recommend mb7)..follow the mb7 dosing instruction..no need put carbon & stuffs..put bio-media like ceramic rings, BactKing, marinepure, biohomme, etc..cycle for a week can add livestock.. I m a woodlander & can help if u want..wish u success soon..cheers

Fish still available & residing in my QT with a 5" pbt..he's a very strong fish & can survive with little care..

Wonder how high can the maxspect gyre be placed to the water surface..asking this is because for a 4 side view tank, the gyre will block one side view if placed too low..so to ask have any user place the gyre at 1" below the water surface and its working fine? I read that most users dun use the gyre at near to 100% power but at below 50% & lesser..won't this be a overkill device and the device is also bigger in size & occupy the smaller tank..just state an example, a 2ft tank use jebao wp60 set at 20% power..cheers

So if it turn dark, what it mean? Dark = black/ brown? I placed mine in the skimmer chamber n it will get lesser n dark eventually after like ard 4mths..I put in more when it reduce more than half the volume..

My wp40 wavemaker just stop working after a year of service..the control panel still in working condition..its mode is W1 S1..I think the pulsing action will shorten the motor lifespan..my the other wp40 in else mode still working fine.. Ps: xmas coming..maybe this give me a reason to get the maxspect gyre generator n try it out..

Ok bro..depending on ur setup & livestock, a major rescape is a risk..there's no guarantee in 100% survivability..anyway, u can post ur problems with pictures to seek for advices & suggestions..cheers

Imho, google n look at others scaping..other ppl can scape for u but "one man meat is another poison" n human tend to get sick n bore after looking at a same thing sometimes..after pro rescape, still tend to Ownself rescape abit here & there after sometime..anyway, if u really zero idea, can engage a pro to start off the scaping then..cheers & happy reefing btw, I m not pro but my time is free if permit & u need help..

Any pic of ur tank & setup & the skimmer? SG too low, incorrect setting, incorrect height placement, etc affect skimming.. Anyway, there's successful reefing setup without skimmer.. cheers & happy reefing..
