Bro, nice introduction of ur 18 months ago tank setup..a very neat & slick tank..I too still rem the excitement of setting up a year+ ago, really the most fun part in reefing.. Its time to share ur successful FOWLR story here..the scaping, adding of ur 1st fish to 2nd to 3rd to ...... grow from 1" to 6" is really a great achievement n its definitely feel "shiok"..if u do have the photos to share will b wonderful.. I remember reading somewhere, there's a limit to how much can skimz..I oso think that one oversize skimmer will suffice..one more skimmer add heat n consume more electricity n take up space..

Get more smaller fishes <3" shd b ok for a 2ft tank..they still can swim comfortably..the last post by bombom the tank was so lively with so many small fishes & a few bigger fishes like 4".. See liao happy dun control..haha..Enjoy reefing aka buying..

Steady bro..thks By comparing a few setup for FOWLR, the turnover must not b too great..eheim1264 is 4500LPH only n u have a successful 18 month tank thus far..I m gg to lower my turnover which is 15000LPH now n try.

1. Find a swimming actively & feeding on pellet specimen.. 2. Monitor for ard 20min how the fish behave, ie. got scratch or shake head anot, breathing rate, its body & fins, etc.. 3. Acclimate the fish well, ie. prazi soak for ard 30min b4 putting into QT or sump if no QT..let him stress free in ur tank water & train him to feed on pellet aggressively b4 introducing to DT.. 4. Plan ur fish list..wrongly plan may lead to the weaker fish stress n rip.. 5. Do regular wc n feed vitamin food.. 6. Luck Cheers & happy reefing

Bro xeneryx's clown tang from 1" to ard 6".. I feel that its luck to get a healthy specimen in the 1st place..clown tang from Maldives shd have higher survivability rates as better handling & no cyanide poisoning..good luck yea

Chiller no need top up water?..no fan the evaporation rate still ok..depend on ambient temp & wind..

Ok bro..pardon me for that wrong guess of ur lighting in ur YouTube video as I dun really see blue spectrum..I m sorry Did u run any equipment to bring down ur water temp? Btw, what salt mix u using? Understand that ur SG is 1.020..propose u to try lower ur SG slowly to 1.016 for fish only tank..if there's a chance we can meet up & Chit chat more yea exchange pointers & knowledge..

There's a few methods to reduce nitrate..u can search in SRC here or google it..read & see which method is most ideal n convenient for ur setup..note that all setup show different results in each of our tanks..cheers & happy reefing

Bro, just realize u mention something about Colour of ur fishes not vibrant as other LFS fishes in another thread u started, what light u using? Light play a important factor..ur tank light look like florescent white light in the video..cheers

Do test on a few water source, ie. Tap water, RODI water, NSW, LFS water, other reefer tank water, etc..compare the results & u will roughly know if ur nitrate level is high anot..if u r worry, do a 50% wc then test again (note that if the new water contain high nitrate, the test result will b high oso)..
