Depend on ur tank size, big tank more water volume less water polluted..depend on ur return turnover too, the stronger the less water polluted too..small fish rip n left in tank its ok, big fish rip must remove asap..happy reefing

Wonder how big is ur yellow belly blue tang? I have missing fishes too in my reefing days..fishes like 2" flame hawk, 4" algae Blenny, 2" maroon clown, etc..suspect eaten by pests in LR..happy reefing..

I bought mine @ AM ard 2mth ago..i think there still have..i buy to entice a show size Blueface angel to eat but failed..my angels now dun seem to eat that oso..only a few of my tangs eat now..if u want some to try n see if ur fish eat anot, let me know..i can offer a bit for u..cheers

Bro, check does he eat at LFS?..if he doesn't eat for a week or his stomach start to cave in, maybe u can try this..from liveaquaria: To entice a Regal Angelfish to eat, use a diet of fresh shrimp and chopped seafood. its a very difficult to keep fish..good luck..

So FOWLR dose vinegar is good?

I think I read from somewhere cheato remove nitrate, so if nitrate lessen, po4 will increase..I dunnoe how true..any senior Reefer can answer or explain this please..thanks alot..

I believe its diatom bloom..I have that too..my tank is ard ur case..1 mth+ 5ft fowlr with old tank LR n dry rocks..I think its high po4 that causes this..i have since added the po4 removal filter (green Colour) n now seeing less or no more growing..I dunnoe issit the filter doing the job anot so dun quote me as I Nber measure po4.. Fyi: My hermit n orangeshoulder tang will eat this type of algae..

This tank setup might b something u think of setting up..this hobby do required a lot of reading up, understand it n experienced it..thing don't always go the way even though u follow the same way..welcome to reefing..cheers

This way work for me too..catch brown scopas tang, damsels, etc.. The other way is if ur tank not deep..1 hand hold a big net..the other hand go inside the tank n scare the fish..if he hide in holes or caves, use ur hand to create current, the fish will swim out.. If there is opening/holes big enough at the cabinet, there's no need for any fan for ventilation..natural ventilation will do the job.. If not enough opening n for circulation inside the cabinet, u can have those clip on table fan..powerful n cheap..will get rusty though but can replace easily.. can share what equipments r running in ur tank now?..cheers

Yeah Bro, patience is the key to success.. The space beside ur sump not enough for chiller?..from ur pic I see ur sump only occupy half the space..maybe ur width is a concern then.. If u r gg FOWLR, u can save on chiller..what's ur water temp now?..cheers n happy reefing..
