For <3ft tank, jebao dc6000 is a good pump to have..u can set the flow power to ur liking..T to a few equipment oso no problem..cheers

Look great bro..hope ur left side rock scape have enough current flowing thru them as I rem seeing a T joint return near the tank bottom thats hiding behind now..not enough flow will have death spot n bad thing grow there..your rock scape look like for reef tank with small fishes..imho, ur right side rock scape can make a bit more 3D with bigger holes n caves instead of a flat look now..cheers

Bro, no skimmer for a few days shd not pose any problem..some successful setup dun have skimmer oso..my tank has stop running due to electricity power maintenance at my block for say 5hr, no problem after that too.. Try to have spare pump at home..u won't know when a pump will kaput be it brandless or branded..cheers n happy reefing

My exp is to have a higher flow return pump..get DC pump if want low wattage..my ex 3ft tank used jebao dc6000 n run very good..b4 that was using a 2500lph pump, tank keep failing..do note that the headloss is quite a lot.. If u really opt for a 2000lph pump, watch ur bio-load n good luck..cheers n happy reefing..

Yes..tap water with anti-chlorine..mix with redsea salt..my FOWLR ok.. My exp with nsw not that good..different sg for different batches..I scare of parasites too..cheers

Bro, we r not talking about what's enough flow n what's not here..all setups r different..can u setup a tank n can guarantee 100% success?..I believe that 2 x wp40 is enough for a reef tank my size..example at AM 's DT.. My FOWLR current flow is strong so far..still figuring out how to position my 2 wp40 so that sand bed dun have botak patches around..cheers

Not all corals need strong current.. The tissue of some corals can't take that strong current n will b ripped off..they need higher return flow.. for return flow, it depend on ur setup..I believe in higher return flow make the water cleaner..my FOWLR with ard 18000Lph is running good..cheers
