  1. From my personal view, I think its always good to label the price range of the LS and any other things on sale..its not about chopping carrot or jack up price or buddy price or different shipment price or TLC price or whatsoever..its about letting buyer see for themselves whether can/want buy anot without the need of keep asking what LS what price..I guess its not difficult to write the price range on the tank rite..just my opinion Sharing an experience at Thailand, I ask for an item price and was quoted 450baht, I ask for 250baht (my friend buy that item @ 250baht at Thailand not long ago) but was rejected..I say no choice I m not buying n walk off..that shop owner then say in an angry manner to me, he say if u r not buying, why ask for the price..I told him that the price was not right so I didn't buy..he say if I dun want to buy, dun ask for price..what stupid logic is that I was thinking..
  2. Depend on luck..saw 8 chromis in a 4ft tank at Krabi..tank got a SRC (Siam Reef Club) sticker on it..I dunnoe the owner keep for how long oso..just try it, maybe u r lucky..
  3. Imho, width wise I will go for is 2.5ft..reason being its easier to do scaping n more 3D look..height wise 2ft is enough..reason being easier for maintenance..length wise go for the max u can (budget & space)..so that u won't regret later n wanting to upgrade..
  4. Forget to add, YT r territorial fish..so best to add all at the same time and last in ur tank..unless the YT r smaller than the later new addition..cheers
  5. Yup..this 3 r what's left out of the 9 I have once in my tank.. For emperor angel, try to get one that's feeding oredi..they need stable water parameters..can b difficult or easy, luck..
  6. Chromis r indeed nice schooling fish..my 3 chromis is still fine after more than a year..
  7. This 5 tangs in a 4ft sure ok..but they might fight, so depend on ur luck yea
  8. This 3 tangs sure ok in a 4ft...they won't grow till that big..
  9. 4ft consider quite big liao imho..of coz 3 tangs depend on what size oso..if its vlamingi Naso tang which max size is 2ft then cfm cannot la..haha..most tang size is ard 2-9" so ok for a 4ft
  10. Hi, can share where can buy this fox controller?thks alot..
  11. 1) keep a calender and write down thing that requires attention and replacement eg added 100g of AC on 13/08/14, wash wave maker on ddmmyy, etc. 2) keep all the manual of the equipment and re read them from time to time 3) buy a small digital scale to measure AC, Bio-sphere, etc 4) buy stock when your existing bottle is half left 5) always have a pail of aged replacement sea water ready 6) test your water at least once a week even if everything appears fine 7) know which LFS can be trusted and which is snake oil seller 8) label all your electrical plugs 9) next person please add... 10) Do not pour lfs water into your reef tank cos it might contain copper for fish treatment or salinity might be very low. 11) wash your hand and arm before you put them into your fish tank (even for one second). 12) Always check and empty your skimmer cup to prevent overflowing. 13) keep record of fishes u buy..do not add too many too fast..
  12. The price shd b less than one blue note..
  13. 322 depend on ur rock scape & ur bioload, with adequate swimming space can house a 5-6" emperor angel..their growth rate is rather slow so it won't grow much in a year or two..3-4" emperor is juv stage (some of my friends prefer juv than adult)..depend on time & space, there do have shipment @ LFS..hope u can find ur choice emperor soon
  14. Yellow tang is a fierce & territorial fish..when I introduce my blue ring angel ard its size, it keep attacking the blue ring angel together with my smaller king angel..I have no choice but to catch out the yt & put in my sump..after a week then put back the yt into DT..lesser attack now..
  15. Did a bit of rescape today..creating bigger holes for them to swim thru..hope they can grow bigger latest resident blue ring angel..
  16. It depend on ur luck to get a healthy feeding specimen at LFS.. Depend on u whether to keep large or dwarf angels, my take is that u must like to watch ur fishes be it what fishes u wanna keep..fishes know how big to grow given their environment and it really take years provided ur setup is very successful too..
  17. Bro, sorry to ask is ur clown tang the 1 @ TFC? Thks
  18. Imho, emperor angel grow at a very slow rate..French grow faster but still will need a few years to grow to an adult size given u start off at a size of 4"..4footer is alright to keep 1 or 2 angels of size ard 4-6"..
  19. Bro miketbh, I think better to get another testkit to test..I can lend u my salifert no3 testkit if u want ..compare the difference yea..I dun test anymore, maybe test once in a blue moon..the most importance is watch ur fishes behavior, eg. Their breathing pace, feeding pattern, swim pattern, body & fins condition, etc.. I have heard from LFS that fish can adapt to poor water condition aka high no3 etc and survive but if add New fish, they will die and might affect the old fish then..anyway, good luck to all reefers yea
