    Yes 50% wc one time will b more effective in having cleaner water..there is really no fixed set of rules that guarantee success in reefing..if bioload is low, think can no need wc ba..cheers n happy reefing

    My nano reef tank cooled by a SONA desk fan..its set to run on a timer like blow 1hr rest 2hr n rest at night..my water temp range from 26.5 to 29degC depending on the day n time..ATO ard 900ml daily..cheers n happy reefing

    Did another headcount..counted wrongly..its 27 fishes.. 10 tangs, 2 dwarf angels, 2 clownfish, 7 chromis, bi colour chromis, bi colour blenny, garibaldi, moon wrasse, flame hawk & moorish idol..

    Transfered this rock from my nano reef tank to my FOWLR tank..guess what.. All the hair algae are gone..eaten by my tangs..

    Nop..my sohal is with me for more than 2 years liao..I bought him from a friend reefer who help me buy from AC on mid 2014 n kept him in his sump b4 passing him to me..he had since more than double his size..

    Yes..i see my duncan n hammer goes ito skeleton mode when light off n fatten up the next day..xenia N gsp oso will shrink..Some zoas will closed up..

    My 3 little fishes still swimming ard strong after 6 days no feeding due to I overseas..more hair algae now..they look nice if dun grow on corals yea..still looking for a way to control their growth..

    Any pump will give out some heat..by having a table fan blowing at the water surface will bring down the temp by 1-3 degC depending on the tank size n location.. Whats ur water temp now?
