  1. A replacement for my sona fan (casing rusty)..this fan I bought at SSC..the shop just outside Teo Heng KTV..cost ard $40 if I rem correctly..I buy this it's because the housing is plastic..
  2. Cheap n good fan..but do note that the casing will get rusty..
  3. Ok haha bro..now u know it lo..suggest u get a thermometer..cheap cheap one like those glass tube type will do..I dunnoe ur hand say warm is how hot, but if my hand say warm, the water temp will b above 31°C for sure..cheers & happy reefing yea
  4. I think the prawn turn orange its because firstly its died n little heat in seawater can turn it orange..what's ur tank water temp anyway?
  5. Nice Midas blenny..jump out of tank twice n u save him in time? Really heng man
  6. Ok bro..very high chance that injured chromis is the weakest among them..good luck yea..
  7. Luck luck luck..clown tang is known to b aggressive n so are sohal, achillies, powder series tang too..by introducing a bigger size later will help..but do note that all fishes r different, so a bigger sohal might b afraid of a smaller clown tang or vice versa..there r many good examples of clown tang living peacefully with other tangs &/or angels..their Colour will deepen when they r more matured but do feed good food & with TLC..good luck bro
  8. I agreed with bro jun005..they will whack the weakest among the group till death..I believe this is nature of fish, lesser fish=more food..if u r lucky, all r strong, all will survive..my 3 chromis left r small, medium & large in sizes..initially I thought the smallest r the weaker but it seem not..so still is good luck to all
  9. Very nice looking Bob the blenny..surprised that 2" is so small where got flesh..
  10. Bro, ur hose not long enough issit?..the sump end go into a sock n push in deeper..the other end must have free play to prevent u from pulling out while moving ard the gravel..cheers
  11. Bro, u can run a hose to ur sump..one end suck ur gravel, the other end go to a filter sock in ur sump..use back the same water..cheers
  12. Bro, google "artificial coral reef aquarium"..got images n videos for u to visualize..cheers
  13. I dun rem the timeline le..no record last time as just started..u can read my tank threads to understand more The death was slow as in one by one n time frame unknown..they will bully the weakest of the group from what I saw..aggression is the key to my chromis death..i have a few tank crashes n this 3 chromis survived that..health issue would b a factor for some though..anyway, good luck to all
  14. Luck luck luck.. I have 3 chromis now from a initial of 9 (6 & 3 from 2 batches) but dunnoe the actual 3 fittest from which batches oso.. Good luck yea
  15. Bro dryDiver, this is bro xeneryx's FOWLR link.. imho, the Colour of fish depend on a lot of factors..no.1 is the fish itself (handsome pretty is its life)haha..no.2 is the care u give (clean water, good food, etc)temp of water?it can b a great debate ..no.3 is the lighting when u are viewing the fish (some like more blue, some like more white, some like dim dim, etc..) Cheers & hope to see ur FOWLR setup soon
  16. Nice scaping bro..had always love this type of minimalist look..simple & natural.. Is the lighting in the pics ur final lighting?
  17. Nop bro..cooled by fan set on timer with my lighting..
  18. How many wavemaker u have? I think ur wavemaker might b too near the water surface thus drawing in air bubbles..u haven install ur lighting yet?coz the pics really a bit hard to visualize
  19. Wonder any chance of Hawaii cleaner wrasse in this shipment..thks
  20. Bro, is the positioning of ur wavemaker causing any sandstorm that cause the cloudiness?any clear pic of ur tank showing the wavemaker?
  21. Depend on you bro..I feel changing 40% & more is more effective in reducing parasites for FO setup..being more wc each time so no need so frequent..this depend on ur bioload too..cheers
