Latest addition: midas blenny from TFC..my 30th fish..

Ur sailfin tang remind me of my vlamingi n unicorn tang a year ago..they will keep eating continuously n look like pregnant..they want to grow up.. now they have grown up n not that round as maybe need to feed more..haha Now its my sohal tang that eat the fastest n he's obese too..not much to worry yea..its just that need to do more wc yea..haha Good luck to any butterfly fish..if they r feeding on pellets vigorously, not too much to worry yea..

Still feeding well n active? U can try feeding the ick shield pellet..3 weeks not short, keeping him stress free will b a better bet than moving him to a QT which shd b smaller n environment not as good.. If u really want, its to set up a hospitalization tank for treatment (cupramine is a good choice for ich)..for temp wise, my 1year+ AT was fine in 28-30°c water..good luck yea..

Hi, welcome to reefing..can share pic or video of ur tank n sump? Like most reefers say, ur tank shd b pretty well cycled..btw, do u have a skimmer? U can plan ur fish list n add them in accordingly (look at size, aggressiveness, etc) n slowly (if small fishes <3" can add more together)..do note that some fishes like tangs r best to introduce in together to prevent fighting (introduce in pair work for me)..do not over crowd ur tank.. For FOWLR, u dun need to measure calcium,mg,etc..for me, I dun even measure ammonia,nitrite n nitrate..regular wc will keep those in check..my wc regime is 40-50% 3-4weekly..my water sg is 1.016 n temp 28-30°c..

Imho, buy reefer long kept fish is the most safest but still subjected to luck when introduced into ur tank..QT fishes oso the same as disease can come after a few months to years, so how long to QT in order to b safe..to me, important is get active n healthy looking fish, better if feed on pellets..keep it stress free n enjoy admiring..pray n good luck

whats ur water temp?most fishes can tolerate +-30°c.. 2ft is consider small so small fishes like blennies, clownfish, damsels, dwarf angel, hawkfish, wrasse, hogfish, etc are ok..its ur preference afterall happy reefing
