Sub-adult Emperor Angel, about 3 to 4 inches -$60 Been with me since it was just 6cm small. So far so good, doesn't nip on my corals, eats like a pig (pellets, frozen) 2. Desjardini Tang (Red Sea Sailfin), 4 inches - $70 Cleared my tank's bubble and hair algae, eats like a pig too. 3. Adult Chevron Tang - $120, fat and eats like a pig too. 4. Paired Hybrid Flame angels - $250 I bought them as a pair, one's a hybrid rusty, the other is more normal coloration. I don't really know how to describe and its hard to catch a picture cause they hide. Will try to catch a picture. 5. Blue Green Chromis x2 - $2 each, bout 3cm big now. 6. Friendly blue damsels x2 - $10 each, bout 3-4cm big now. bought from ML when they were just half their size, Henry brings them in quite often, can't remember the exact name. They just eat, and eat, and eat. Used to give harmless chase, but they don't anymore. They just eat. 7. Maldives Blue Eyed Anthias - $15. Eating and surviving very well. Bought when it was just 3cm head to tail, its bout 4cm now. 8. Bubble Coral - $60. Huge colony. Green/White Others: 1. Live Rocks - enough to fill a 3ft (sorry very bad at estimation), looking to clear all at $70. Have varying shapes. Got two big towering pieces which I quite like personally, Also have one piece that have some big zoas (i think they're zoas..?) on it. They came attached to the rocks and have grown and colored up very well over the past three years (from my previous tank to this one). 2. Dead coral skeletons - have quite a few from the past years. Take all @ $10 3. Live sand - take all @ $10 4. Filter media - Bacteria King 10kg worth (I'd like to keep some as I'd still be starting a Nano tank) - $80 5. Filter media - Don't know what is this called, but its like ceramic rolls. Got quite a few. Take all @ $20 I can't really remember what else I have. Will update along the way if I find more. I've been using the gyre for about 2 weeks now. Quite pleased with the performance. My tank is a 322, and I'm using the XF150 from the recent preorders. Similar observation by Solo77, initial use stirred up quite a bit of particles. But I also realise there are less dead spots with the gyre. My gyre is on pulse mode, at 20%. Only thing I ont really like is the controller. Abit limited IMO. Would be nice if a photoelectric cell could be attached. Hopefully a pro controller would be released eventually! My previous wavemakers were a combination of Tunze Nano Wavebox 6208 and Tunze 6045.
