Hmm.. If heat is your concern, I believe the only way to go about it is to install a condenser unit that sits outsider. But honestly speaking, the heat generated from my 1/2hp chiller, doesn't significantly affect the temperature in my house.

Hmm.. Sorry.. I'm not home often enough to tell how often it kicks in. But in comparison to the HC300A, when i was using the 300A, I always hear it on when I come home and feels like it was constantly running.. But with the HS90, I don't hear it kick in that often and on the average think it takes bout 10-15mins to cool 0.1 degrees. And yup, as what bro kayakkite say, all chillers will have a warm exhaust, or rather, should have.. Otherwise means something abnormal liao.. Haha..

Good enough but it does take awhile to cool. I was using a HC300A too, then decided to upgrade to HS90A (1/2HP).

Thought of changing the bacteria I'm currently using for my tank. Anyone using/tried the API Stress Zyme? Any reviews in comparisons to other brands like Brightwell's Microbacter7?
