Hi I have a PAR38 all blue, bought just last sun from madpetz, receipt and box still have, used less than 3hrs as i found it unsuitable. $110 best price. I got two set of lumen aqua mini 30, one all blue , the other 2 white , 2 blue...selling at $80 for both, bought 3mths ago use for only two months. Sorry to dig up this old thread , just wanna share a experience with clownfish in my iq5, i used to have two clown fish in my iq5 , two small one around one inch each... they r healthy and forever hungry, chasing around.....suddenly one fish just disappear, after a few days the other one also disappear, after i decomm the tank about two wks later , found the clown fish in the skimmer compartment....weird thing is that i had the tanks cover 24/7 dunno how it manage to land inside.

actually im using just 2 sets of lumen mini for my sps tank, good enough was a very broad term, it really depend on the size of the tank, the position of ur sps. for me my tank is shallow and i place the sps right at the top, so far good enough to survive and grow abit...but i always think that a good water current is more essential than light in sps.. of cos i probably am wrong

hi , my sps is attached to a fat piece of rock which is unsightly, wondering how to cut it smaller as it is really hard.

if u want mild current the boyu wm-01 , is really cheap like 12$ n flow is mild

those who actually have this skimmer n the foams doesnt seem to reached anywhere near the top, my advise is change the wood block, the standard woodblock is really crap, get a bigger one like sander 2, n u will see good foam reaching top.

dunno why my clown fishes keep on jumping out, had about 4 that had jump out n dead, i hv a cover but had a very gap but they still able to jumps...
