Notice nutrients start to go high whenever I feed brine shrimps or mysis cubes to my fishes. Excess nutrients have a negative impact on the sps colours from my observations. Would like to find out how you guys prepare the cubes before feeding?
Look promising for razor leds, please update pics again 3 months later as I also experience initial colouring of sps when I uses the mazzara P leds but later took a turn and look more brown. Might be due to the nutrients in the tank though.
Wah. You got it at a decent price. I was quoted $80 for the pink yuma, single piece somemore. End up didnt get it. Anyway good luck on the gonio nursing, its going to be a challenge. Hope you can succeed.
Ya man, bro dnsfpl's tank have the most amazing growth I have ever seen. Please share your secret brother dnsfpl.
How often do you feed your corals n fishes?
What type of food?
What salt u using?
How do you maintain your kH, Ca and Mg?
What powder you using if dosing mix?
What are the T5 tubes you using?
How long is the photoperiod?
How far away are the lights from the water surface?
What water temp you control at?
Sorry if I ask too many questions.
How old is your tank? I see stn on some of the sps? But it doesnt look like beyond hope. Stick to your weekly water change with detritus siphoning and dont dose anymore additives other than the usual kH, Ca, Mg. Give your tank time to mature and refrain from adding any more fishes till end of year.
I have 2 yellow tangs and a unicorn tang, have always wanted a chevron tang but never successful due to ich. Now that my tank is much stable, would like to get back a chevron tang. Question is will my 2 yellow tangs fight with the chevron tang? Cos both species look like the same shape type. Advice needed.
