  3. Wow your tank so congested. Look healthy.
  4. Can tell expert at work....beautiful corals
  5. Haha! Oic..... I damn scare of U.S. knife, very sharp
  6. Raise up your led to the height of your support bracket. You are toasting your pratas
  7. Wow nice clam n blastos.......uncle mike share where u get those?
  8. Nothing beats regular weekly water change. Rowaphos will help speed up the reduction in phosphate. Last but not least find the root cause of your phosphate level. Can be photoperiod, can be feeding, can be tap water or natural seawater, can be accumulated detritus or die off algaes.
  9. Need so much light meh? I think you can make do with 6 x T5 by using good deflectors and positioning them lower for intensity. I believe kH & temp stability is still number 1 parameters for sps, lights and flow are secondary.
  10. My pocci love high pulsing flow and medium light. Target feed it with oyster feast once a week. Avoid touching it once you position it and polyps are showing.
  11. Is the Japanese angel fish expensive?
  12. Just sharing my gha outbreak counter strategy. I take out some of the corals n plug off as much gha as possible, re-glue them back. Break up my tank maintenance into twice a week, every mid week siphon accumulated detitus in tank & sump, Every end week change 10% water. Refuce feeding from 5 to 3 times a day, reduce photoperiod from 7 to 5hrs. Change rowaphos every month and daily check sufficient flow is channeling the rowaphos reactor, sometimes too low flow it just stop moving around. Activated carbon change twice a month. Reduce iodine n strontium dosage to min and maintain stable kH, temperature and Calcium. So far its a winning battle after a month.
  13. Best is remove the affected sps away. So the eggs when hatch will not spread to others. Alternatively dip it in coralrx and brush off the eggs n flatworms. But from my experience it hardly survive due to already stress by the flatworms.
  14. I like your setup and fishes. What angel is that? Its beautiful.....lps safe?
  15. New tank syndrome very normal, it will be much stable after a year. Avoid adding more fishes and concentrate on husbandry, flow and nutrients exporting in the tank. End result will be more rewarding.
  16. Amazing growrh! What salt mix did u use? Do you need to dose magnesium?
  17. The filter is to.prevent dirt from clogging the titanium fins? Do you connect the fans power supply to the chiller cut in/cut out or just leave it running all.the time?
  18. Bro, the pic show you added 2 small fans to help push in the cool air. Is it effective? Thinking of doing the same for my arctica 1/5hp if it can help cut down the run time.
