  5. Bro, your tank just supported by the wood n Styrofoam at the edge? Once the live rocks in, the uneven weight distribution might crack your tank base. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  6. As long it is opening well, means it is happy. But also take into consideration as it open bigger, your other corals will have limited space on the rocks My elegant prefer sand, it grew twice the size when put on sandbed. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  7. Yup totally agree, very timid by nature. Mine come out in the open tank area after 3 days but still it cant compete against the other anthias and chromis for food. One of the main reasons I have to flood mysis once a day into my tank. Training it to feed on pellets now. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  8. 3 days blackout follow by 20% water change has shown good result for my tank when tackling red slime algae (cynobacteria) or dinoflagellate.
  9. Honestly, This video not much credibility cos it got no reference of before dose and after dose. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

  13. All my clams are on sandbeds, no issues. In fact they are happier Oh ya, and my rbta likes to attached itself on my clam shell. No issues either

  15. Watch out for high nutrients, algae will bloom. But its good food for corals. Target feed preferred and try to do the feeding one day before your water change day. That will help dilute excess nutrients Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  16. You can try Harlequin shrimps, they might feed on the asterina starfish. But after its gone, past it to the next reefer so it doesn't starve to death Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

  24. Any ups to recommend? Will the ups be fast enough to cut in power to the dosing pump that it doesnt go into the selection mode? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  25. Hi reefers, My marine magic has served me well for past 1.5 years but during these period of time I encounter a few times of power failure or main fuse reset. Everytime there is a power outrage, the MM dosing pump will go back to the manual/timer selection page. I have to select "timer" mode before it will go back to the programme dose timing. So now I am looking for a reliable dosing pump that will auto start back after a power failure outrage. Meaning after I reset the main power supply breaker, the dosing pump will continue to run n dose at the programme time. No need to do anything else. Anyone have such a dosing pump?
