I forgot to update. One hobbyist told me to try feeding with prawns and true enough it came out from one of a hollow hole in a LR. So now I know, that his hiding space.

Anyone keeping Chermin in their tank? I'm wondering if is it possible for Chermin to eat my small size crown fish and damsels? I realised for the passed few days, my smaller fishes have been missing. Initially I thought it was my snow flake eel but I think it is still very young and mouth may not be that big to swallow those fishes.

I don't have and sand in my tank. Initially I let it sit on a LR but it's hard for me to observe the embryos so decided to hang it against the wall of the tank.

Yes you need an import licence to import any live stock. You don't need licence if you hand carry into Singapore. You can also check with the seller if they have their own SG importer contact that can assist you but of course with a fee. If they don't have, there are a few fish farm who do provide importing services with a fee.

But I was told by the shop owner I can also hang it upright. Anyway its 130 days to hatch so I still have some time to do more research online. Thanks for your link you attached.

Hi Guys, I recently bought a banded shark egg from a LFS and have placed it in my tank hanging upright. It is still in its early stage as I can only see the embryos. I understand after some researching online that it take about 130days to hatch. Is there any other things I need to take note of like if I'm hanging it upright is ok for the embryos? Water flow in the tank from wave maker? Should I leave the wave maker on? I do see abit of a layer of whitish colour on the surface of the capsule. Is that normal? Hope someone can advise me.

Can anyone advise for bamboo shark, what's it's size in adult stage? I'm planning to buy 1 to keep in a 6ft tank. No sand in the tank.
