  4. Anthias are born female. If in the group, there is no male, the biggest females will transform into male. If all females are of equal size. Then there will be fighting competition. My got 3 females all same size. Competition took long, like 8 months. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

  11. With a chiller is always good. However you can do without, if you want to keep the run simple with just anemone and few fish. Try to research the coral and fish that you want to buy. Not all are compatible. Fish that get into the tank first might be aggressive to new comers. Some fishes of same type might also fight to death. Try to research fish disease (some new fish come with disease) Try to research reef pest, they will give you nightmare. Try to research bacteria, you don't want to get ammonia spike and wipe out whole tank. ID and research all the living things in your tank. If you are serious in this hobby, get a RO/DI unit and chiller (set to 26~27 degree) Your other questions, many helpful bro had replied.
  12. Probably you can try adjust your waver maker. It could also be that your waver maker is oversize.
  13. Last time I use pH probe. They are more accurate but would spoil after some time. Nowadays I don't measure my water pH anymore. I prefer those that hang in the water, where I can look at the pH digital number anytime.
  14. Skimmer is very efficient in catching the dirt floating in the water. Without skimmer the dirt will slowly build up in the sump tank. With small bio load as yours, it will look very long to build up.
  15. Your sand size is 0.1? If 0.1 then will be too small for normal display tank use. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

  22. Any dirt/dust or algae on it? try blow/remove. Is there any fishes keep pecking them? Else just leave it be. Probably they were stressed by tank pollution. Making the water stable will help them to reopen.
  23. I also got static shock sometime. Very long ago was a chiller. Was newly bought and I took back to shop exchanged. The exchanged chiller I been using for 10 years not yet spoil. The other time got static shock, is a motor. Recently I got static shock again, now ok. I think because my multi-plug bit wet.
