Anemone is a walking time bomb. My suggestion is to put it into a QT pail or Tank for it to recover. Putting into the Display Tank is too risky for your live stock.

I used par38. Initially I also got issue in small strands of chaetoe went over the glass and get stuck in the pump. What you can do is to use a container to prevent it from going over. But you need to poke a lot of hole on the container to make sure water flow through it.
