2 Feet, using a handed me down u tube light with one side blue the other white...sorry don't know enough about marine stuff yet to describe...

Want to ask for advice, I keep a few pieces of buttons ranging from orange to green to brown buttons and I noticed that they are growing longer over time. They also seem to be growing in all directions, becoming more 'sparse'. Are they missing nutrients or not enough light or??? Please advice, thanks!
