Im running on 3x2x2 fowlr. fishes started dying. most of them start off with cloudy eyes. then pop eyes. i've lost naso, flame, bluelips, emperor, blueface, bluering, regal, french, golden angel, singapore, bicolour. Looks like im gonna lose my asfur next. ive done lots of water change. all my nitrates, ammonia lvl all are okay. need help. thanks

Hi bro. live rock are those in lfs that are running in the tank. they're normally covered with "stuffs". they will be inside seawater to make sure the bacteria doesnt die off. so the white dead coral like stone is no way LR. you can find cheaper live rocks in pasir ris farm way. normally will cost u ard $6/kg or u can purchase from reefers here. lr can be added during the cycling process. it will help. there are lots of clownfish around. from 50cents to $1000. depends on which one youre looking for.

hi bro. can i ask. you mention that i can keep the quarantine tank if not in used. but i dont get how we set up in the water part. shouldn't we cycle the quarantine tank also ? and we have to keep running the water. or we can just buy nsw to put into the tank everytime we buy new fish ? its quite troublesome to run the quarantine tank when its fishless in it. i want to keep it but im afraid everytime i buy new livestock i have to repeat the cycling process. pls advise

hi bro. im no expert but bm 3.5 is a good choice. to me, the bigger the sump the better. it increases your volume. live sand i would say caribsea. grade depends on you. 4kg of salt can be easily used up very fast. Should just get the 22kg one.

nitrite might be 0 because the cycling process has yet to be started. best to check if theres any ammonia. if 0 nitrite, there should be spike in nitrate. have to use testkit to check for it.
