  5. if i happen to cut the bristle worm into 2, throw it back in the aquarium, will it still live? hmm abit like earthworms
  6. its a long tentacle plate coral, i saw a couple at Ah beng this weekend. And for the black stuff, its the poop coming out from the coral mouth.
  7. i see the uncle @ the pasir ris farm always turning the shell, i wonder if that is advisable?
  8. Actually when you get a few LPS, the clowns might move from one LPS to another. My clowns appear to be frickle-minded, Thats my experience.
  9. i think it depends on the species of your clown fish. Do heard of clown turning colours based on diet , water parameters and etc
  10. Bro care to elaborate why not suitable for reef tank?
  11. Coraline algae is suppose to be purple rather than red. Am i right?
  12. are the parts in red , red slime algae? i have some of those in my tank.
  13. are there other fishes in the tank which is forcing your clowns to a corner?
  14. The rocks were sun dried for 3 days before placing them into the tank. But i guess the pest comes from the corals bought @ various farms, i guess that inevitable
  15. i went to search on it, it does have some resemblance , but spaghetti worms have alot of "legs", but then again, which in my case is more of thin strand of earthworm climbing in and out of the rocks.
  16. Do you keep snails? i have something like that and after a few weeks i saw lotsa baby snails climbing at the base of my tank. Its kinda funny, when the lights come on, they all will drop automatically to bottom.
  17. i dont think its bristle worm, it looks more like earthworm ( thin and brownish in colour). For pods, i thought the fishes will probably eat them if they are exposed, but it seems that the fish doesnt really care about them, and they seem to climb around my Zoas and other corals.
  18. Whenever the lights are off for an hour or 2 , i always see them appearing, after i switch on the lights they will quickly hide inside the rocks. So far my corals are ok, but i wonder if they are of any use to the aquarium.
  19. Maybe posting a photo might help. Usually anything on water surface will go into overflow box and get caught by the filtration. Thats what i think.
  20. Hi Aldrick as spoken, interested in the Zoa.
