When in use, low flow rate is used. Reading worsened after 10mins flushing.... It's really frustrating!!

Very sorry to post my displeased here... Recently I've bought Crystal Pro refilling resin (box package) from AM. To my astonishment, reading from test meter indicates 10ppm and 6ppm from both resins each respectively. I headed back to AM and did an exchanged. To make matter worst, reading from NEW resins worsened (55ppm and 18ppm)!! Just wanna know if anyone experiences such mishap? Any kind soul here care to share their bad experiences here. It's very frustrating for all that inconveniences as I'm residing in the west area.

Let us face it, the fish is already dead and I've cough out S$50/- just to view it for a day... Be it whether the fish is killed by cynaide OR any other forms of infection, I had my punishment for negligence and inexperience for inpropoer selection upon purchase. Since this is a weekly update forum, let us focus on that...

Added market prawn and left them rot till super unbearable stench In addition, I've been dosing Brightwell bacter on the 3rd day since market prawn's introduction. Took measurements with Salifert kits and found that NH4 0-25, NH3 0 and Nitrate 50ppm.. Bought a cleaner shrimp and a pair of australian clowns from Iwarna, place them in the tank and they have been surviving since then (about 3 days already). Does it mean my tank is fully cycled?? Pls enlighten.. Many thanks

Hi Bro, I'm a newbie... So I hope you that you can my below doubts; 1) During cycling, since we have to cultivate good bacteria, shouldn't the skimmer be turned off till entire cycling process is completed? 2) Why can't liverocks be mixed with freshly mixed salt? What should be the best appropriate time to place in the liverocks then? 3) If ROWA-carbon is added, will it defeat the purpose of cultivating good bacteria? I seek your expertise advice as my tank is arriving very soon...... Thanks.

I had a sump that separates by 03 compartments. Can any good people advice locations to skimmer and planted mangroves? My opinion (pls correct me if I'm wrong) to place some liverocks together with mangroves in the middled compartment and skimmer with the return pump. Will I acheive quality cycling if items are placed in such pattern? I need your advice(s). Thanks bro...
