  3. Upzzz for ur sale bro!!
  4. For mine, i just started with a handful of chaetos in a transparent container placed inside a sump compartment that has sand n LR.The moderate flow it gets is from the return of my chiller directed to the transparent container.
  5. Bro, seanhorsay is selling. Left 3/4. Try Pm him. Thanks
  6. I agree with peacemaker's points. 'Glass thickness, age of use, and method of transport are some factors that may contribute to the conditions' A bit of what i've read before:: uneven base (or at an angle) with bigger tanks causes uneven pressure on the glass. uneven surface, twists the glass, weakening it. Like the expert says, the stand could be the cause too. The floor/ location must b ensured that it can take the wieght and is not too slanted too. Whether the stand is no good?,, the experts must come in n see.. Like what has been analysed and found that it isinks abit, i think better change. Thats just my point of view
  7. http://www.reefcorner.com/SpecimenSheets/plate_coral.htm I hope the above link helps. Thanks
  8. Thanks. Im visualising what harlequin saying. Yes... If the flow too fast then chiller = runs longer n work harder till reach set temp. Meaning chiller runs & my house will get very warm during that cycle. If flow too slow then chiller = runs shorter time and h2o cool down faster to set temp. Yes ideally it has to be according to the specs of the chiller required flowrate This is to prolong the lifespan and let efficiency for the chiller. I hope other bros that are running pump from sump> chiller > main tank could share here. Thanks tropic n harlequin. Im flowing with few ideas now.
  9. I think mayb its bcoz if the pump is down, at least the circulation and filtration is still on between the sump and main.
  10. Hi guys, im planning to have a pump from sump to hailea 300a chiller then to main tank. From sump to chiller abt 90cm, from chiller to a shoulder piping abt 70cm then up to return. Anyone has similar set up and can advise the recommended flow rate of pump to be used? Im thinking of 3500-4000l/hr.. Not sure whether it is fine. Can advise? Thanks guys
