  1. What I would try would be to keep trying to increase for a while, while observing if the culprit can be identified or it will stabilise after a while. No issue for me to increase 100ppm a day for me (using Seachem Magnesium Advantage). It is not the Mg increase of 100ppm that really matters but the other molecules bound with Magnesium for instance for Seachem, the magnesium is in crystal grains. It is in the form of Mg Chloride. It is the sudden spike of Chloride that is feared. As for Mg level, it would be just like acclimating corals from LFS with lower Mg to our tank.
  2. Cyclopeeze 1can, can last very long, may be 1-2 years. Do not know how can profit from selling it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. The dry one can order from US http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/argent-cyclop-eeze-freeze-dried-fish-coral-food.html
  4. Heniochus Dispheures is quite reef safe. I kept for 1-2 months until got eaten by my anemone. It would only occasionally nip at SPS polyps but not to the extend of damaging; in fact not really visible, just like what yellow clown goby does. Live aquaria even lists it as Reef Compatible: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+25+3111&pcatid=3111 It is easy to differentiate between Heniochus Dispheures and Acuminatus. Just Google on how to differentiate them, and then go to Ah Beng which almost carry both species every week and after observing, the difference will be obvious. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. Depending on type of fish. But generally first step, if they are feeding well, looks "comfortable" in the tank meaning not scared, hiding all the time, not chased, picked upon, then they should be fine. Then watch if they maintain weight. When they have established their home in the tank, feeling so safe and comfortable, many of the fish will even feed from your hand. They will smart enough to "recognize" feeding time. Then the next, some fish will lay eggs and produce offsprings. This is the ultimate thriving. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah. Mine was a bully. It is a beautiful fish, but unfortunately a bully, need to add it last to the tank. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. You guys are power Following your thread. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Just want to know, if I can take the risk of keeping it too (really like the blue color of the damsels). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Saw On YouTube that Julian Sprung and Sanjay Joshi keep Azure damselfish (the yellow belly one) without aggresiveness issue. Anyone here keeps it with other fish without issue of aggresiveness? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Perhaps it is better to ensure that the cause of the death is due to the weak specimen and not due to the tank condition or disease. If they died from ich, the tank should be left fishless for 2 months. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Whoa, this is a unique setup. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Not to worry. It happens to all wrasses. When they feel safe, they will come out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Iwarna (or PM bro FuEl in this forum) has captive bred snowflake clowns. If on budget, can go for lower grade ones. Very healthy and strong specimens. I also got mine from him.
  16. Check with AM or DE Lightings I saw AM carrying AquaPharm products. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks bro FuEl, will try to do that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. The anthiases have been with me since August and doing well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Does not looke like the cause of ammonia as well since all other fish and anthias-es are doing well. No apparent diseases as well, at least not visible to eyes. Initially I noticed that the male Lyretail is aggresive towards the cardinals but the second day it tolerates it. The school was intact for 2 weeks where suddenly 1 by 1 starts to dissapears. Anyone keep school of red spot tail cardinals for at least few months? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Definitely not a matted filefish. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Anyone experience the same in keeping a school of red spot tail cardinal or yellow stripes cardinal fish, where when keeping a school, after 1-2 weeks the fish will start disappearing 1-by-1 until only 1 left? I do not think there is cardinal fish predator in my tank. The cardinals were feeding well. Basically this is the 3rd experience of such thing. First time was a small school of yellow stripes cardinals, the red spot tail and recently another school of red spot tail. All after a while, disappear until only 1 left. 22. The blenny is trying to protect its algae grazing area, basically food competitor. Sometimes after awhile they will accept each other. Sometimes depending on the fish personality, they won't accept. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks bros zoas is nice not in big colony but more on the variety of patterns
  24. Anyone know of LFS that is willing to sell zoas in small colony or few polyps frags? (normal zoas not those super expensive ones)
