  1. Wow. You dug out a very old thread. I used to keep. As mentioned, very hard to maintain. Wasted away after couple of weeks. Managed to enjoy its awesomeness for a while. Still think it's better to leave them in nature to continue this species. Here's a pic.
  2. Very nice pics bro! Hope to see ur dancing queens! Anw, would love to see you pom pom crab in another view. Its so shy... How about a video of your creatures bro! seeing in HD can be so exciting! ^^ Ur tank makes me excited. Haha.
  3. My Sun Coral adapting to new home. Started with 2-3 days feeding, now feed daily to get it more settle down. This picture shows it coming out a little. (More than my first few days)
  4. Exactly! They are so lovely. My colleague and I were just discussing to have just a pure shrimps tank. Hahah.
  5. Cuz I haven't have time to cover my skimmer inlet. Hee. They are smaller than my skimmer inlet gaps. And hopefully bigger will be safer as my cleaner shrimp will chase them away.
  6. Exciting! hope to see your tank soon! I do salt mix w distilled water every 7 - 10 days. That's about 12-18 litre used.
  7. New additions. Still in isolation box for feeding until bigger size.
  8. I'm not crab expert, I'd remove and hang them in isolation box to have extra view. Hee
  9. Keen on your orange octo. hope to hear from your split sales soon.
  10. Anyone have other colour like orange or red for sales can also pm me.
  11. I wanna get pink euphyllia paradivisa/divisa

  12. Sorry Mod for double post. Connection lagged. Please remove this thread. Thank you mod!

  15. An interesting tank you have! Your close up reminds me, there is more to explore within a small enclosure. And haha! a life lesson too! "The wonderful things in life need not be far away, sometime having a closer look of things/people around us can bring so much amazement. "
  16. Take care of corals first ^^ u can suck out some pods and build a "farm" in another tank.
  17. I got an alveopora from jireh, surviving well. Although I experience the hard sales but rejection is fine. Hee. By now I knew more lfs, it's always nice to move around to see different lfs still. As for Nanoreefer, get a container/pail with clean distilled water/ro water and do your salt mix. Then put a simple air pump or low flow pump in the pail w ur new saltwater. Then transfer ur corals there for the time being. Put some loose live rocks if you have. Next buy some beneficial bacteria such as microbe lift nite - out II, and actually jireh ' s bacteria starter is quite good. (My pico had a sudden spike and turned cloudy, his bacteria starter turned the water clean overnight) and other brands our bro can recommend. Then have to manage other parameter using no3 removal etc. Whatever lesson that is, welcome to reefing world! It's more fun and challenging than freshwater but certainly no regrets! I had my lessons from other lfs. 90% wipeout rate unless u keep damsel. Haha.
  18. Thanks bro!! You are very helpful! And you are very knowledgeable in this aspect! Nice tank Btw. Heheh. I saw my office using one recording cam which is super zoom and awesome. From end of room corner can zoom to see air con remote digit beside the door. Can also zoom to see the laptop screen and read some lyrics. Very cool. I shall ask for the model and share share when possible.
  19. Saw online there are some ways to go about but that means you need ur phone charge 24/7 and use at the same time which I worry about the battery explosion. I thought of it too but dunno how to go about. There's an app called ip webcam which I have not explore yet.
  20. For brothers using, if you guys don't mind can screenshot or record a segment with the brand/model so we can compare and get a better brand for our reefing experience?
  21. Wow. So many good advices! Thank you everyone. Hopefully we can source out better cam for us to enjoy our reefing experience. Then we can have a forum where we can showcase our tank at any point of time ^^ online gallery/exhibition. ^^
  22. Thanks guys! But in terms of coral "fluffiness" etc, can still capture? My idea is to monitor the corals and also to enjoy it while away from tank. ^^ Joby553, yours seem clear but if zoom in, can see clearly as u mentioned that u use to observe ur tang more. Heh. Ahhyi, what is the damage like? ^^
