  1. Life from NTUC shows about 5-6 ppt. Need to explore what is that few ppt..
  2. Keep a close monitor on your temperature as the light may increase heat transfer and increase tank temperature. The first few months of a tank can be a nightmare. Start simple until all algae bloom etc are dealt with.
  3. If u switch 1 plug by 1 plug, able to detect which plug leak current? That's what I did. If it's ur pump, then send for replacement under warranty.
  4. Bought 1 sargassum couple of years back. Very interesting fish. Easy to keep and eats market prawn, silver fish and clam. Just swing them in its face and it will eat like no one business. Saw an orange frog at Henry. Very beautiful and reef safe from what I read. But it can eat small fishes. Consumes a fish half a size is no big deal to it
  5. Used to have similar issue. Tried touching 2 different tank and confirmed that current leakage. My fish was suffering and swimming like crazing, and like a blind fish. Tried switching various plug and realize it's my pump. Switch off the pump and things went normal. Alternatively, it's also the top surface oil that is more painful to our wound.
  6. Hi TS, the piece on the left is fake coral. Are u referring to such design? I had removed it due to algae despite scrubbing. Howeve, if you are keen and certain for whatever project u want to start, pm me.
  7. Hope ur true perc found a good home by now!
  8. That's what I scare too. After seeing it with my clown in my pico tank, I can't bear to separate the new friendship. Otherwise my clown will be lonely
  9. Update: New torch and hammer coral to add colors and fill gaps.
  10. Ahhh tempting ah. But I'm looking for coral first. Haha. Complete my Euphyllia garden first.
  11. Oooh my... so small so cute! The red painted eyes, like ninja turtle! They are just so nice!!
  12. Bought a pair of true perc from our bro here. Fish eating pellets, very active and healthy, hosting my torch coral.
  13. Yes bro, new 6 lines. Quarantine there first to monitor got itch or not. If safe I will transfer to main tank. Only keep leftover mushroom and loose zoas.
  14. Indeed! At least not for my level yet. Haven't level up. Haha.
  15. Hey bro, thanks for the advice! I'm using rw4 at lowest speed. Any higher my Euphyllia will face a risk of tear. Dunno why my rw4 so strong. I placed it at super low flow, place it at medium flow, place it at high flow. Feed also cannot. All cannot work. -.-" eventually disintegrate and die off. I remb my green gonio in the past survived pretty bad water quality and survived for months until I kena parameter spike. Somehow, pink seems more challenging than green. I think I stay with alveopora better. Heheh.
  16. I'm using that. Push giant shopping trolley(those smaller type) into ntuc, grab 14 bottles tada.. 5-6ppm haven't test what's in that distilled water.
  17. There is a very small marine shop at beach road. Saw them selling eels. quality not sure as I don't buy from there.
  18. Yeah Bro Andtsg. Saw mine at lfs it opened quite good. So doubt mine is short tentacles. Looks like a fat stalk sunflower ^^ cute too. Heheh. I saw google pics there are some very long tentacles some quite short. Not sure about sun as they are my first attempt after losing a pink gonio and a brain -.-" somehow they just don't like my water when all parameters are fine. Bro Bunster, I fed them with arctic pods, frozen brine shrimps and frozen mysis shrimps, all de froze using tank water as I don't want them to have shock or take in FW soaked food.
  19. Opening up slightly more even before feeding Hopes the daily feeding helps encourage it to open up.
