  1. Don't stock up lps so quickly. Let ur tank settle longer to play safe.
  2. Algae blenny kept my tank clean and clear. Btw what skimmer are you using? Looks small
  3. Get a small good skimmer. It makes a lot of difference! usingthe mini reactor from IM. quite good too. these should help w parameter. lesser parameter problem = lesser algae issue. Glad to see ur tank stabilize after 6 mths. 6 more mths and it should be even nicer if husbandry is well kept up with. coralline algae etc.
  4. Oooh your pellets are the big one! mine is always submerged. Anw changing tank to bigger volume. So need to see if this is still suitable later part. your tank is really an inspiration for those who want to go nano.
  5. true that. that's what I have been doing. so its quite normal in a way was afraid of clumping together, risk for hydrogen sulphides. but so far so good. love the compact size thanks!
  6. how about prices for the food/additive/equipments etc? are they cheaper?
  7. Bro Bunster, I've tried the reactor after your affirmation do you experience thin pellets floating to the top of the reactor? I've tried reducing the flow on the pump and the reactor itself, some still float up and stuck at the sponge area.
  8. we all went through the same mistake and we grow from it PO is kind of high. You may wish to add NP biopellets/biosphere/rowa to reduce PO. Copperband can be fussy with food. I had one that survived on Mysis for a long while in the past (few years back), but due to poor husbandry, crashed my tank and it died. Wrasse is known to jump so better cover with net something that light can still shine through for ur coral. I noticed my fishes tend to jump on full moon, other days no problem.. gravitational pull etc as I was told in the past. lost about 3-4 fishes as I can't cover my tank. have fun and reef on~~
  9. any mithrax crab spotted? (emerald) Thank you in advance~
  10. Agree hard to find, took me a long while due to no stock or poor coloration. Found mine at jireh last time. I find it very nice and lasted me very long until my system crash =.=" .u may wish to look see look see if you go qianhu for fish spa. Like Patrick shared, GO carries some alveo/gonio recently. Many prata and some nice blasto. Candy also.. AC also has some beauty corals. Tank all decorated.. so don't know which one for sales. Saw 2 spot goby too. Very nice. Some pink zoas. Many colorful scoly.
  11. Pardon the poor camera. Will try to get some better picture in future. Some PE Some Zoas
  12. New residents. Hector Goby, read something that they help with algae too. Saw some pecking. Pistol Shrimp, to accompany my goby, let it dig holes and have some interesting creatures to view.
  13. Try it!! hope to see your tank soon!! Yup. Lesser light, less HA, but my prolifera suffered. More light = more HA, unsightly. Hopefully to reduce the HA through fishes.
  14. Hi all, I'm looking for some chaeto in the north area, Khatib/Yishun/Sembawang/Woodlands/Marsiling, If you have some to let go, please let me know! Kam-sia~~Thank You~~Xie Xie~~Terima Kasih~~Nandri
  15. Try call Henry, I think I saw one at his shop if don't remember wrongly.
  16. Btw bro, do you use biopellets or just rowaphos/carbon?
  17. Nope. This one aquazonic LED light. 18 watt. At times I add another 6 watt fluorescent. Algae blenny feasting. Haha. Too much hair algae actually.
  18. They are fast grower in nutrient rich and high light. actual timing less than 1 week. 1 week is only a reference.
  19. Some top view, new zoas, hoping to color up after settling down.
  20. Thought of housing ur chaeto in external breeding box? So you free space in tank and looks nicer? and also prevent fish from getting trapped.
  21. Yay!!!! It's fun!!! My prolifera not mature yet. So can't release. Will release some in future.
  22. Tank may be nutrients rich now. Lots of hair algae and diatom. Thankfully hector's goby and algae blenny (dunno which one really worked) helped with HA control. New growth for Caulerpa Prolifera after many parts died due to travel stress. (Melted/asexual) not very sure since its my first time going into marine plant. New leaves appeared and in 2 days time grew to 3 times of this small size.
  23. Thought of left side rockscape for SPS and right side for Zoas, hope to create a colorful rock. Once zoas grow more, GSP may be changed as background wall. but I think the journey going to be long.
  24. Hi Bro, hope you reserved for me. can't wait to collect from you
