    Is your tank enclosed area? If it not fully enclosed PH will not drop much. I got few friend using CA reactor without still kalk. PH from 7.9 to 8.3 is ok. Normally my PH drop around 7.9. Coral still doing fine. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk

    Yup good salt make big different. Personnal I recommand tropic marin sea salt. Some of my friend using it and there good improvement in sps colour. Because good sea salt should has more trace element as for tropic marin it stated 70 different type of trace element. The trace element I mean is not KH, CA and MG. But you need regular water change weekly and depend on your coral if your tank full of coral maybe water change not enough need to dose the colour element to maintain your sps colour.
