It's best that you try feeding pellets at the shop before buying.. Yellow tang are fussy eaters at the beginning.. Red bamboo agale for starters and frozen brine shrimps will do the trick.. 185 Gallons - 5ft tank since nov 2013

Hi bro, Look around before you commit to a tank. I would suggest going to madpetz, aquamarin and green chapter to look at their tanks.. Green chapter tank setup is the simplest/cheapest and is done by Westcoast aquarium - Jeffery. Dead rocks are the best as you won't have any nonsense pest breakout. Madpetz has the most interesting scape as ken uses PVC pipes to scape.. I would say that it's unique and you can add more corals as too much rocks will spoilt the soup. The most beatiful tanks is aquamarin, it's simply stunning but they don't share much.. Maybe I don't spend much money there.. Haha... Ken from madpetz will be a good give tips if he is not too busy.. Hi bro, the canister just use filterwool and bacteria king media. You just need to clean filterwool on a weekly basis and not replace anything else, you will end up recycle the tank. For starters, try to go easy with the amount of fishes. I always suggest that you have a smaller separate tank to qt them first for a couple of weeks before intro main tank. Hi bro, You need to watch out on your temperature once you get your livestocks. You need to cultivate the bacteria and the filter that you have is not enough to help that biological filtration process and therefore longer cycling. The filter Is the heartbeat of marine keeping. The rocks that you use are not live and it's harder to absorb nitrifying bacteria, It will eventually.. I strongly recommend a minimum Canister Filter to help and keep your marine stock alive. When handling liverock or stock. Using gloves will be best. You never know what sort of bacteria is there.. 185 Gallons - 5ft tank since nov 2013

If you have too much stock with your readings, you will risk ammonia issues. You need to work on putting enough bacteria to iron out the balance.. 185 Gallons - 5ft tank since nov 2013

It's best not to keep, if too much movement. It's sting your other corals if you don't move it out the way. The other way is that you target feed It once it settle down to prevent it from moving other place. 185 Gallons - 5ft tank since nov 2013
