  2. Yeah u can get dry rocks from bulkreefsupply. Once u get them, remove any thing that's no supposed to be there. Soak in saltwater for a month with powerhead. And wait and measure. It should be ok once ammonia is zero. Po4 is zero. If u want to cycle, add microbacter7. Cycle complete when nitrate is zero. Once done change water and wait a fee days and measure again. Patience. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. OMG. Please find a new home for the fishes and let it be there until you cycle complete or upgrade. 13L tank is no joke small for those fishes and no amount of chemicals will help the water quality to be stable. Yes it looks nice in LFS but at home it's a different story altogether. Also as advice by others pls do read up first before committing to this hobby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Parrotfish sale close. Only dogface puffer is available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The following fishes are not reef safe. Only to be kept in at least a 4ft tank with ample room to move. Dogface Puffer ($20) - 4 to 5 inches long total. Healthy and eats a lot. Will eat your clean up crew. Been in my tank for 10mths Peculiar Parrotfish ($25) - 7 to 8 inches. Healthy and eats anything. Crews of algae of your live rocks. Might eat on clean up crew also. Been in my tank for 10mths too As mentioned, only get these if you have a lot of room for them in a minimum 4 feet wide tank. These fishes will be nice addition to any large FOWLR tank. Collection at Pasir Ris. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Hi. I'm no senior in this. But some thoughts to share. Phosphates are also available on ur rocks. It takes time for the rowa or media to reduce them entirely. Physically remove the algae will stunned its growth. Also nitrate and lighting period promotes algae. I don't think it's the speed of flow or contact. I keep freshwater using canisters and it's fine.
  13. Also check for nitrate and ur lighting period.
  14. There are phosphates in the rocks. Test kits can't test this. U need to have a way to remove them by running media. It takes time and patience.
  15. Look for Agent Green by ATM. I believe some of our sponsors bring this wonderful product in from the US. It's not that popular here I guess due to marketing
