My first skimmer and been using for over 4 years. Had to upgrade due to sump resizing. This AP series skimmer is suitable for tanks up to 1000 liters. Fantastic thick skimmate and performance. Good for reefer that’s starting. The skimmer has been modified to fit the red devil pump with needle impeller. Original was an aquabee pump. Although this skimmer can use outside sump, I would recommend it to be used strictly in sump. The skimmer body is still in good condition. There is a slight tear at the skimmer cup slot (the gasket where u twist open/close to remove collection cup). It can be mended by super glue but I did not because it didn’t cause any leaks and still ok as long you don’t over tighten. You will need to get your own feed pump of 800liters/hr. Never heard of LFS quarantine fish before. Recently bought some fancy clowns. Was told they are fine for a week. Dropped to tank next two days got infected and died. Other clowns in tanks n fishes also wiped out soon after. Lessons learnt is to quarantine own self and not trust lfs. Not saying that they are bad but each party has different objective.
