some reefer had start changing their pump to Tesino, in/out sump pump, silent, low wattage and high flow. I am considering as well, probably getting friend who fly to china freqquently to get one to try. A lots of good review from china reefer. I using Eheim, only down side is the high wattage.

i bought the dremel. WHich i regret as i should be getting proxxon. As i bought the dremel for doing acrylic works. Dremel made in mexico, lots of attachment (not cheap), attachment not necessary to buy back dremel as lots of OEM. It has high RPM (15000), good for cutting steel but low torque. Proxxon made in germany, do have attachment but not as many as dremel, as they design different tools for differents usage unlike dremel. It has lower RPM (5000) but high torque. Thus make it ideas to cut acrylic as high RPM will get hot and melt the acrylic easily. Depend on your usage.

i get mine at Sun Hee Hardware at Clementi ave 2 blk 354 or next to this shop, dunno the name, side by side. Price is ok, 20mm grey pipe 90 degree elbow is 90cent. All item is price tagged. So wouldnt chopped. I even kena $3 for a 13mm end cap at eunos hardware shop. Do note that grey pipe and white pipe cant really fit each other.

kudos to this project. As i have worked with 3mm acrylic and invest in some equipment namely dremel, accessories like bit and etc. I only use cut and snap method for the 3mm acrylic, and find it difficult to achieve a true straight edge. Looking at the thickness, minimium should be 6mm if not more, whole lot of other equipments come in play like the saw with special saw blades, router and bits, working bench and etc... u can start taking order for acrylic tank and accessories, haha..... The equipments invested is certainly more than buying the tank itself BUT the satisfaction probably is priceless.

The cabinet is actually a camera dry box. Surprising it is quite matching to the tank in term of size and look and the powder coating paint can tahan the salt (no sign of rust). This decomm tank still sitting at my living room. Will post my current 3 x 2 x 2.5ft tank after i took some photo of it. Good night....
