I have never had issues with carbon ever.i have been in the marine aquarium industry for 14 years....

Hi Guys, Just putting a warning out there to all you guys that have or want to use kent marine carbon. During december i replaced my carbon with kent and almost all my sps's bleached over 3 hours. i realised soon enough that something was wrong and removed the carbon and did a serious water change and luckly diddnt loose anything. Today i found out that there is a lawsuit against kent regarding there carbon. Please check the production dates and check the carbon codes on the container : My link With out a doubt the bad batch of carbon did reach singapore as the codes matched my kent container. I am really upset that do not test there carbon for heavy metals (Apparently this is going to change). I have persanally put in a formal complaint to kent marine USA, lets see what there response is....

Just an FYI all pink birdsnest are gone (I will be fragging this week again but i want the frags to stabilize for at least a week after they are fragged before i sell them) i still have two Orange ones left if anyone is intrested... Really nice sized and nicely colored.

Most of my sps's show this response all the time.... obviously this always happens during water changes or during feeding, but people suggest it can be a good or a bad thing. Im really intrested to hear what others think of this...

thanks guys for all the kind comments!!!! Here is a pic of the sump... not a great pic.. but note the new toy on the left hand side that i bought from lemonlemon for a steal There is no way i could can on dosing the amounts of alk and ca that i am ... At the moment my CA is sitting at 300 and my alk is at 7 and i am dosing every single day!!!!so a CA reactor was the only way forward...
