  1. ... scam us? I like alter-ego, can tell by your signature
  2. Though the following is not as many as the surgeonfish & anthias, I'm just wondering how many of you own a Goby? I do apologise if I missed out any, but if you have any type do tell ... particularly the exotic ones such as the Blue-Banded or Eviotas. Also in part of celebrating my 999 post
  3. hamannbmw, If that worries you, you can always throw in a trusty Polyfilter to help the system cope. Otherwise, you can always do a stakeout on the bottle after lights out. Just that your ornamental shrimps may get to them first. Dan, Thanks, a pair of these will fit nicely into your SPS bonsai tank
  4. Tanzy would love to get his hands on one of these ... Gravity Bomb Gun in one hand and a Nutrigrain Bar in the other will pretty much make him cream his pants
  5. Razo, edited the post for you The fishes will swim where they like, lower light, more food perhaps. I have another shrimp-goby pair which was facing the back of the tank. It has re-oriented themselves already to face the front. (Edwin, you can stop laughing now ) hamannbmw, that is quite a number of casualties, is yours a species only Goby tank? If you do not have shrimps, you can try the bottle trick.
  6. Thanks JC, much better to have the arguments / explanations all laid out, everyone can then make up their mind if it is real. And Tanzy
  7. Fuel, even if so, I would be looking foward to more pictures of your Yashias Razo, you will need a butler to keep the place in order, get a Pistol Shrimp. Watch out for the pictures of my Neon Goby, coming to a thread near you
  8. It'll be a concern when you understand that the USD$40b could be better spent ... say saving the Oceans? Particularly since the US still owe a lot of money, so techically, they're spending money which is not theirs. Its still a space race after all, pushing the boundaries. But there are many issues to settle back on Earth, so hope they do come back down to Earth.
  9. Well, I'm not going to pretend to be an astrophotographer or physicist, in fact, I am an Arts student Point taken about the stars not appearing on the video, but you can see that the pictures have been doctored, otherwise, how do you explain that discolouration? The flag is waving, you can probably download a short clip on its somewhere. Even if moved, I would expect the flag to move in a linear motion, I expect air drag and gravity should have something to explain the waving motion. Perhaps someone trained in Physics will care to explain? What I mean from the photographs indicating various light sources is that the shadows seem to fall everywhere even if the Earth is clearly in another direction. Rockets thrusting away at 60,000lbs? I would expect the landing site would be pretty hot? Why do sand fuse into glass when superheated anyway? I mean similar landscapes as in mounts with identical gradient and backdrop. There were many missions, all of which have sites more than 2.5 miles away. It'll probably be clearer if you saw the video. Apparently, they superimposed the video captures and found uncanny similarities.
  10. I'm watching a documentary on conspiracy theories now. Here're some of the questions raised on the moon landing: - why are there no stars in the space background? - If there is no wind in the moon atmosphere, why was the American flag waving in the lunar moon video? - Why is there no glass formed in the landing crater? - Shadows in the photographs suggest that there are more than 1 light source when the cameras used had no flash. - Similar landscape in photographs from different landings. - Crosshairs in the photographs are inconsistent; some appear in front and some behind objects in the photo - suggesting editing More to come
  11. The Male Yashia is supposed to have a distinguishing black rim along its ventral fin. It has yet to be confirmed but has been touted in RC. I have a few shots, but its not as clear as I liked. Till my sleepless night then Do post a picture of yours soon
  12. Thanks guys, especially marinebetta again for the male Yashia. I'll have to keep the fat and happy, then perhaps they'll go the same way as the Nassarius Had to wake up 3am to take these pictures, think I can conclude these guys are either nocturnal, or really timid. I have resorted to pasting black cardboard to the tank to help acclimitise the male Razo, I do not think you will regret it, as long as you can setup a species only tank, after that, welcome to many sleepless nights and many a camera clicking
  13. Not necessarily, a well rated skimmer can pull out gunk even from aged new saltwater mix. I can't comment as I'm not a MACRO skimmer user, but I would recommend you give the guys a full appreciation of your setup and skimmer setup configuration / setting. Common mistakes are water level and tuning, which some of the members have pointed out.
  14. Looking good Fuel ... I'm still working on pairing mine, keeping my fingers crossed Meanwhile, keep the pictures coming
  15. I tinted my tank green with DT to celebrate St. Patrick's Day
  16. a lifesaver in a draggy office friday
  17. Yeah, makes me wanna go out and look for a new shampoo called Scorpinone Well, good luck in your presentation
  18. Well ... tell them what they want to see and hear, odds are you will probably get their attention If its helix they want, its helix they get ... provided they still have not gotten over it Better, use someone / discovery close to their heart as background, now they listening ...
  19. I have to agree, it does look like a shampoo or shower gel ad, aimed at womenfolk, if I may add You said it yourself, the cronies would not take to it. What about an old fashion double helix or something ... lots of formulas Fonts may be a little out of place though
  20. There are show quality dogs available locally if you know where to find them. For MS, most of them are imported from Taiwan and have already been established.
  21. MS looks like that all the time, but they have very expressive eyes don't they? Their compact mascular build will more than make up for it. Its a very popular breed these days, but many are pet quality though. Its good that they stay active & curious ... next stop, skydiving?
