Hi reef bros Any recommendations for cabinets which can hold up to a 60 gallon rectangular tank? Dimensions are 4 by 1.5 by 1.5 feet. Thanks!
-
Hi fellow reef bros, After much thought and consideration, I have decided to either.. 1. DIY myself an acrylic tank 2. Custom a crystal glass tank The dimensions of the tank will be 4 x 1.5 x 1.5 feet. However, the catch is I don't think I can go for a sump because of a couple of factors. I intend to do up 2 IOS filtration systems at both ends of the tank running on Biohomme plus, ceramic rings and maybe chemical filtrations such as Chemipure Elite and Seachem Purigen. For lighting, I will go for a 4 feet t5 with 1 actinic, 1 blue and 2 white bulbs. Please advise and take into consideration that I'm not going to go for a sump. Cheers!

Hi bros, Anybody letting go of your tunze 9002? thanks! -
Hi Reef Bros, My tank is a 2 by 1 by 1.75. Are there any hang-on skimmers to intro? I do not have a sump. Cheers!

Hi Reef Bros, I have a 2 x 1 x 1.75 feet. The volume of the tank holds at about 20-23 gallons of water. I am looking at the Hydor Koralia Nano wavemakers. Which should I get? Not too strong but ample current for an LPS stocked tank with a 3 chromis, 1 yellow wrasse, 1 six-line wrasse and 1 anthias.. Please advise.

People may prefer sand to coral chips simply because of the pleasure of viewing but to me personally, coral chips are better because they help in maintaing the PH and KH level?

had an ich outbreak recently. purple tang died -
Hi bro, thanks for the advice. My tank is a 2 x 1.5 x 1.75 feet. I cannot use a chiller because I have no sump. The next best option would be to use a fan. Currently, temperature in my tank doesn't exceed 29 deg. It always hangs around 28.2 - 28.4 degrees. I know it's a bit too warm so ya.. I should get a fan. Where did you get your fan from?

Update: Purple Tang passed away. Sigh.. Was wondering if whether it had anything to do with water. I checked parameters and everything seems fine.. or at least the test strip indicates that everything is "fine" and within acceptable conditions. Should I use salt mix or continue getting NSW from Ah Beng?

Any good brand of fans to recommend for a 2 feet? Please pm me with location of LFS to buy it.

Hi bros! Am interested in getting an Iceprobe chiller for my 20 gallon tank. Would it be efficient enough or can I just make do with a couple of fans. Please advise.

Very encouraging advice. I guess I will stop at my fishes for the meantime. I have actually dropped salinity and corals are doing fine. Hope all goes well! Will update asap.

Ich is back again bros. Tried dropping the salinity and mixing garlic extract to my frozen brine. Ich went away for a couple of days but its back and this time even my sailfin tang has it. What should i do?
