Hi, my clown fish jumped out of the tank when i went for lunch ytd but somehow manage to survive. today i tried releasing him out from the breeding box where he was recovering but it seems like he is struggling to swim (probably due to current). Just wondering on average how long a recovery period would be good before i release him back into display tank? time spent out of tank: wash car n lunch 2hr + time spent finding him 30 minutes (bugger jumped 1 feet out to the bottom back end of the sofa) below are the videos of his first 10 minutes in tank.

hehe..patience aint one of my virtues.. came back from lunch today to find one of my picasso gone. Suspect it is the 8line wrasse that kept chasing him this morning and because the 2 clowns are always swimming on the top area, prolly jumped out when the wrasse tried to be aggressive towards it. Took me 30 minutes or so to find him under the sofa. fast hand fast leg throw him into the box at the corner of my tank and pray hard hard. Bugger is a fighter and came back kick in less than 10 minutes. when i just found him: After 10 minutes or so (u can see the dam wrasse still below trying to aim for the clown):

how do you define stable KH? my kh can drop by .2 per day. if i let it drop by .5 and boost it back to normal (8) would that be considered as a fluctuation? on average i realize i am dosing 20ml of sodium bi carbonate per day. (manual dosing - waiting for dosing pump to arrive at madpet). would this be considered unstable?

Ever since i got my auto top up unit from gemsurf, i realize that my it takes just a day to finish the water in the storage holder. ie:4l of water evaporation per day, tank is a 4 x 2 x 1 with a 3 feet sump, no cabinet. wonder if the evaporation is normal or a bit on the high side?

hmm think is u sway ba....so far i using wp40 too no problems....but i did buy another spare one on standby should anything problem occur.
