  1. Ok, thanks. No huge difference and can see got a bit of difference. If there is reading below zero, I'll say its -0.1~0.2ppt.
  2. Ok, when I cal refractometer to zero at 20deg using rodi water. When room temp go back to normal say at 30deg, the reading actually not at zero, slightly below zero. Is this normal or correct, bro?
  3. Ok, what I did was blasting my room air con to the coldest. Using a room thermometer to read room temp to be btwn 20~21deg. Then I start to cal my refractometer using ro/di water. Is this method of calibrating correct?
  4. Pending collections tonite, still have 1 xenia frag available.
  5. What abt those with atc? Mine states that when calibrating, ambient room temp need to be at 20deg. So if normal room temp in Singapore btwn 28-31deg, we can't do calibration of the refractometer cos it won't be accurate? Anyone can advise in this?
  6. To answer some of the enquiries abt the coverage of this light. One set can cover 1-1.5ft length without any problem and that u r not keeping too light demanding corals like sps. So 2 sets shd cover up to 3 ft. If u wanna stretch and cover up to 4 ft, u can try hanging it higher but the penetration power will be compromise. Previously, I used this led for my 3ft tank & supplement with a 4xT5 set. Even manage to keep some easy sps such as bn and monti. Hope this can serve as a reference in helping answering some of the questions asked thru PM.
  7. 3 xenia frags and 2 red monti frags reserved. Left last xenia frag. Will update if buyer back out. Cheers.
  8. Ok, glad that u have that sort out or plan out...In case of power trip or ur return pump suddenly stalled, hope ur sump doesn't overflow and flood. If u r still able to do any modification to ur sump, maybe u could reduce the water level so that it is able to hold the water coming from the DT. Getting a check valve is only good if u r around to turn it on/off. Btw may i ask how did u diy ur sump, it looked like u place some small tanks in a bigger tank. As for ur WM, I think its ugly to place in front of ur DT and also blocks a certain portion of the display. But if u dun mind, then its ok. Hope u dun mind my comments.
  9. The other red monti is also reserved. Both xenia and monti pending collection this tues. Left with 2 more xenia frags for sales. Upz...
  10. Glad that helps, if I'm not wrong, built up of coraline algae can cause the micro bubbles in the skimmer foaming process to burst prematurely and that will reduce the skimmer's efficiency in making down DOC.
  11. Does your sump suck in all the the water from the display tank when your return pump stop running? If it does, your sump doesn't look like its able to hold all that water. The round thing in front your DT is your wavemaker? Where is it aiming? Seem like blowing to the back of your tank, doesnt seem to help distribute flow that way. But your options seem limited due to your cabinet design. Try place it on the rhs of your tank ro blow from right to left. BTW u still running that cannister filter?
  12. Pics of xenia & red monti frags... pardon for the blueish lighting.
  13. Bro angmoh, the light from the refugium is gonna cause coraline algae growth on your skimmer. Hope u have taken some precaution. For mine, I wrapped aluminium foil around the skimmer's body.
  14. Juz fragged out 4 xenia and 2 red monti plate(~1"). 2 sets of xenia & 1 red monti currently reserved by request. Still have 2 xenia and 1 red monti for sale. Pls pm me to deal, thks. $5 each.
  15. What the lights height clearance from your water surface? Seems quite high.
