Different factors contributing to the recede each time. This time is due to led radiation & also overdosing of additives such as trace elements. Ya, u r rite, bro. Not easy maintaining its colors. Starting to brown out & have small patches stn at the base. Not having high hope on this piece. Updates: Went shopping yesterday @ GO and some selected corals on sale while others prices are negotiable. So I got from bro Shan 4 pcs of sps @ $100 & a red prata also @ $100 which I think is quite reasonable. No need remove, juz get a 4xT5 set to add to ur tank. 1 aquablue special and 2 blue plus and maybe 1 purple plus. But in order to make ur tank brighter, u must also ask urself this question, " what do u wanna keep?" If juz lps maybe add another 2 tubes might do.

The corals currently in ur tank doesn't regarding strong lights but if u wanna try the more colorful lps or some sps u will need to add more t5 tubes.

Yours is atman one? China brands pump sometimes like that. Detribus inside the magnet holder prevents the impeller to turn smoothly. I will usually on power and manual turn to spin it. Once it starts spinning I will faster close back the cover. Sounds stupid but works a few times liao for me.

I also have green slime, or Cyanobacteria. Seem like I have overdose on some additives like BW biofuel and mb7, amino acids, fm reef vitality and color elements. So if u guys r dosing similar products or vodka or any other carbon source. U need to reduce or stop now. Siphon out gsa & do more small amt of WC. This is the advise I got so hope this helpful as well.

Most reefers especially sps keeper change after 6-9mths of usage. But some dun bother and used until the t5 light blown.

I thinking of doing something similar, must ask u for advise next time. Cos I'm thinking decomm, sell off LS, then start all over again. Very time consuming...lol.

Ya, I still considering. Have many sizes & materials to choose from. They also have sizes as fine as 1-3 micron. I rather confused by the many material they has to choose from, polyester, nylon, polypropylene, microfiber, etc. Dunno what's the difference and which is better?
