  1. What is your first coral, leather fingers?
  2. Very good pe on ur digis. I think there's nothing to worry even if its doesn't grow vertically. As long as it's growing with gd pe showing, it will do fine.
  3. Bro, as your tank matures and all your long tentacles lps does well, can try more variety of lps (open brain, lobo, etc) or even sps. Juz a thought.
  4. Any pic of ur purple valida color now? Previously it turned green rite?
  5. Equally stunning zoas to match your photography skills. Nicely taken shots.
  6. Bro, when cycling actually no need to on the lights cos no livestock yet. Be careful of the mite looking creature, if its a isopod, u need to catch & remove.
  7. Dun think I will remove the rock as there r other corals & sps glued to it and it's actually quite a big boulder piece. So I can't remove it as I dun wanna disturb the other corals. Anyway thanks for ur suggestion. Can't really chisel it off. I tried using a scraper & coral cutter to scrap it off & it's quite brittle & breaks in small pieces easily. Dun wanna do that as it will cause more damage. Thks for ur suggestion though. My monti from GO, those 3 for $100 sps. It grew from ~3" in diameter colony to 3 big colonies ard 4-5" where I placed in different location in my tank. If u like, I can break a small frag for u. Pls PM me.

  9. Hi reefing bros & sis, My red monti growing & encrusted on my large piece of incline rockwork. Juz wondering if there's any method to remove it without actually destroying & killing the monti? Any advises will be appreciated, thanks for reading.
  10. Green digi collected. Thread closed. Thanks for all the support.
  11. Nice tank, good to see u start a new thread, bro.
  12. Nice looking nano. Awaiting more pics. Using hot water or u can use joe's juice if I have to get rid of aiptasia.
  13. This is truly a very well done mixed reef tank. Keeping softies, lps & sps all in one tank is not a easy feat. Gd job.
  14. Reserved & tentatively pending collection next wk
  15. So actually how's old is your tank? Lol. Nice collection of anthias.
  16. Try adjusting the water level in the inner funnel of the skimmer cup to the bottom and slowly fine tune higher. I think the water level/bubble foaming level inside the cup is too high.
  17. The argus wrasse rip after a few wks so it didn't really perform its task. But anyway, I have concluded there's no nudis as til now I haven't seen any. The red monti also kinda recovering slowly on its own. I guessing its could be burnt marks from intense lighting. Anyway its CNY eve, time for me to do a quick update. Some of my sps colonies still having stn issues. I guessing it could be due to not sufficient light shining to its base. Any experts can advise? Gotten some new corals, all some pics... M. Setosa Lobo Some chalices, first time keeping, hope they will do well in my tank. Anchor hammer That's all for the update, wishing all Chinese reefers happy & prosperous lunar new year in advance.
  18. Ok, sure. I let u know if its still available after CNY but most likely it will be. It's like a cold dish in my frag tray. Lol.
  19. Really beautiful sps dominated tank.
