  6. I used to run it beside my tank. It was very hot and humid in the living hall even during cool and rainy days. It's nothing like compared to those conventional aquarium chillers where if u chose an oversized one where kick in time is extended. Heat is get trapped and built up in my hall even though the compressor only kick in like every 2-3hrs, probably due to the powerful fcu in it. This has caused a lot of displeasure among my family members. Haha... in the end I shifted it to my kitchen service yard. Bro chercm, u shd get the air con guys to advise u. They will be able to advise u better on how to shift away from ur living room. I did mine and now everyone's happy. It will cost a few hundred though as they will need to re-weld ur drop coil and re-route pipe and insulation. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  13. Occasionally nipping at the polyps but nothing serious.
  14. Got easier methods like doing 3days blackout. Maybe I try that if dinoflagellates still persists. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  15. U mean the seahare and urchin? Ya, they did. I think my dinos not so severe. Cos dinos grow fast. Faster than cuc can eat them. So most times deploying lots of cuc also no use. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  16. Seahare & urchin still ok. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  17. I hv plenty of snails but most died eating dinos as it is toxic. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  18. This is what I doing now to battle this dinos monster. Currently into my 3rd wk and results seem positive. No wc for 6wks but I hv to siphon the sandbed of dinos and return the old water back using a filter sock to filter out the dirt. Stop carbon dosing, e.g I stopped aio biopellet reactor for a wk until nutrients build up too much. Read that high no3 kills dinos too. My last reading is no3 is at 1ppm & po4 at 0.33ppm. Increase bacteria dosing to outcomplete dinos. Reduce photo period to 6hrs. Increase ph, for my case I add kalkwasser to my tank daily, stopped when my KH hits 12dkh. I overdosed this a little and some of my sps r having no pe now and some hv burnt tips. Increase mg to more than 1500ppm, also read that some strains can be killed by high mg. Thinks that's all. 19. In a way yes, dinos flourishes under low ph condition. I didn't check my ph then. Was battling low kh then due to my undersized cr. Then I think I overdosed something and dinos juz bloom.
