    Target feed is the only way to get the tenacles of lps in feeding mode. I've not heard of broadcasting method achieve this. Maybe others can advise.

    I think his is red chilli coral (Nephthyigorgia sp) not red tree sponge (Ptilocaulis sp).

    R u dosing any calcium additives in the first place? U have to stop dosing and wait for it to drop to normal levels, u can cont'd with water change. Mg is magnesium.

    Your ca too high, try to bring down to between 400-500ppm range, KH is ur alkalinity or carbonate hardness. Mg is suppose to be between 1200-1500mg/l. How come urs is only 0.5mg/l?

    Ok, it will take some time to grow coraline algae. In the meantime, make sure ur water para such as ca, kh & mg r stable to induce their growth as well as for ur sps to grow.
